Glacier Brewing Co

Bias Brewing

Bias Brewing is Kalispell, Montana’s newest craft brewery. We are devoted to creating community through quality craft beer! We enjoy exploring new beer styles, so we only feature a handful of “mainstay” beers. The rest of our lineup consists of rotators, brewers’ experiments, and seasonal specialties! Check our site often to see exactly what is on tap! We are located in downtown Kalispell, just a quick drive from an abundance of northwest Montana’s natural treasures including Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake. We are on the way to many local tourist destinations such at the cities of Whitefish, Montana and Bigfork, Montana.

Ronan Co-op Brewery

Starting with Community

In 2016, the people of Ronan, Montana came together to assess the state of their community. Creating a vibrant, thriving downtown emerged as one of the major priorities of this assessment. The idea to start a brewery and taproom on Main Street Ronan as a place for the community to gather and enjoy great beer emerged. Breweries can play a significant role in downtown revitalization, especially in small towns like ours.

In April 2017, over 50 people attended the first community interest meeting introducing the cooperative brewery model. In cooperative breweries, the community members come together to finance, plan, and start-up the business. It was the perfect strategy for making our vision of a brewery in downtown Ronan a reality.

Our brewery incorporated as a cooperative association in October 2017. Our 7-9 member board of directors, which is elected by the co-op members, directed the process of feasibility studies, site assessments, business planning, and membership drives and fundraisers.

Branding Iron Brewing Co

Tamarac Brewing Co

For as long as any of us could remember, we have always wanted to start a “family business.” We would have long discussions (enter the beers) about what kind of adventure we could carve out for ourselves and those we loved.  We knew where we wanted to be (Lakeside), what we wanted to do (have fun bringing people together) and how we could do it (great food and awesome beer).
Tamarack Brewing Company opened it’s doors in the summer of 2007, which is eons in the craft beer community. We brewed 380 barrels of beer in our first year of business; more than ten years later, we are up to 4,400. Tamarack in Missoula opened in 2011, serving the same great food and drink found in Lakeside.
We are alive and kicking at Tamarack because of those that make its heart beat day in and day out…our customers and our super cool crew, better known as the “Tam Fam.”

Canyon Ferry Brewery

Kelli Gibbs & Tadd Fuhrman

Kelli grew up in Townsend  and graduated from Broadwater High School in 1999. After high school, she went on to attend the University of Montana (Go GRIZ!) in Missoula.  In 2003 she graduated with a degree in Health & Human Performance.   She continued her schooling in Athens, Georgia to graduate with a Master’s in Exercise Physiology from the University of Georgia.   She later finished her schooling with a Physician Assistant degree from South University in Savannah, Georgia.

Tadd , a 4th generation Montanan from Opheim, graduated from the University of Montana  with a degree in Business Management and Marketing.

Tadd’s passion for craft beer and Kelli’s knack for recipe creation came together while traveling sampling craft beer and gourmet food. The idea for Canyon Ferry Brewing was born. Subsequent courses at Portland State and a brewing internship at Imagine Nation Brewing in Missoula brought opening a business into reality.

Canyon Ferry Brewing was created out of the view from the “flats” Kelli enjoyed growing up in Townsend.

Flathead Lake Brewing Co.

WHO WE ARE

The Flathead Lake Brewing Company started in 2004 in Woods Bay, Montana. Our owner Greg Johnston has two very specific goals. The first: to make the best beer ever. The second: to have fun doing it. Naming the brewery wasn’t hard. FLBC overlooks the shores of the largest freshwater lake in the West – and we would argue the most beautiful.

In 2006 we were honored with becoming the youngest brewery ever to win not just one, but two, World Beer Cup awards. Our brewery brought home a Bronze medal for our Peg Leg Porter (now the Painted Rock Porter) and a Silver medal for our Mutiny Stout (now the 369′ Stout).

By 2010, Greg’s daughter Sandy Johnston joined the crew and took over as General Manager and helped remodel the taproom in Woods Bay into a pubhouse and started on the rebranding of the company’s look.

By 2012 the Woods Bay brewery was at full production and plans were made to expand. With not wanting to leave home (Bigfork) the old bowling alley in Bigfork was acquired and the next two years were spent remodeling the building to become one of the most sustainable breweries in Montana. In 2015, Sandy’s FLBC Pubhouse and Greg’s second brewery opened in Bigfork.

Now, one can find an FLBC ale throughout Montana, Eastern Washington, and northern Idaho.

We at FLBC work hard, play harder, and do everything to the highest standard. For us, it’s about being leaders in the beer industry, it’s about supporting local and environmental sustainability, and it’s about contributing to the community that has so graciously embraced us. Most importantly for our crew, it’s about making beer and food that we are proud of. We love what we do, and we hope you do too.

Montana is the Treasure State, and we are Montana’s Liquid Treasure.

Philipsburg Brewing Company opened its doors in 2012 with the idea of providing quality, hand-crafted beers, in a friendly, unique setting. Philipsburg Brewing uses only the finest Montana malt and local mountain spring water to craft our beer. Mike Elliot, our head brewer has quickly earned a reputation for creating unique, crisp, and refreshing lagers and ales.

We invite you to come to visit the brewery, but if you can’t, at least browse through our website, find out where our beers are served, then plan a trip to Pburg in the near future. Our brewery is located in downtown Philipsburg, Montana in a historic bank building constructed in 1888. We are open 7 days a week and feature live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Oddpitch Brewing

OddPitch Brewing opened August of 2021 in Missoula, MT.  Our mission is to produce quality beer and provide an environment that reflects us as people and a business, which means keeping things a little…odd.  You’ll always be able to get your hop fix with our IPAs and Pale Ales.  We have our flagship, Cold Fresh Joy, for the Light Beer drinkers out there. Our barrel-aged program allows us to have fun with different mixed-cultures to produce a range of Sour Beer, Saisons and big, bold beers aged in spirit barrels.

There are always fourteen draft options available in our taproom with a majority of them rotating seasonally or whenever we decide we want something else to drink.  We also have a selection of ten pinball machines that gets rotated several times a year.  For you gamers out there we also provide an ever-growing library of board games to be checked out!

At Bitter Root Brewing we craft and package all of our beer on premise in Hamilton, MT. We make 35 to 40 different beers throughout the year with a focus on traditional styles. Our packaged beers are available in Montana, Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington. We love the opportunity to put our own twist on our small batch and specialty brews and enjoy making them just as much as we love drinking them.

Conflux Brewing

Conflux is a family run business that is 100% locally owned. This allows us to act independently in the choices we make and gives us the freedom to create the culture we are striving for. We wish to be a sustainable business that is socially, ethically and environmentally responsible. The hope for our building is to be used a vessel that encourages positive changes to our growing community, and that our growing community keeps us motivated and moving!

The idea of the public house, or “pub”, resonates strongly with us. Pubs hold a unique place in the American experience and colonial pubs were pillars of the community. Conflux Taphouse is our attempt to revive and embody the quality, creativity and warmth that historic pubs represented to their communities.

We are on a mission to bring the inspiration of Montana to our taps by pushing the limits of creativity in the brewhouse for the beer we make. We are set up to welcome families with kid friendly food and engaging play areas. Our building has numerous areas for groups, couples and individuals to choose from including an outdoor patio on each floor, bar seating and two dining rooms areas.
